I’ve been busy lately working on some space heaters\/fire places for a manufacturer.<\/p>\n

Xrev Family Creation - Fireplaces<\/p><\/div>\n

These family stretch the capabilities of Revit Family Creation whilst still keeping them user friendly.<\/p>\n

The user can select what type of Flue they’d like (based upon whats supported for the particular model) EG: Natural, Balanced, Existing Fireplace or Powered. \u00a0They can specify how many bends they’d like and the family paramagically adds new segments allowing you to specify the individual bend angles, rotations and the length of the runs. \u00a0Validation is built in, so it will advise the user if they insert too many bends or exceed the maximum length and will not allow the user to exceed the minimum length. \u00a0You can also specify the type of termination you’d like. \u00a0EG: Flush Cowl or Vertical Cowl.<\/p>\n

Then there is the Fire Places themselves. \u00a0The user can specify:<\/p>\n

  1. The Size<\/li>\n
  2. The type of Mantelpiece (if applicable and for both sides of the wall if applicable)<\/li>\n
  3. The type of Trim (if applicable\u00a0and for both sides of the wall if applicable)<\/li>\n
  4. The type of Cast Fascia\/Cast Insert (if applicable)<\/li>\n
  5. Marble Margins<\/li>\n
  6. Marble Front & Base<\/li>\n
  7. Marble Hearth<\/li>\n
  8. Glass Sides Option<\/li>\n
  9. Glass Back Option<\/li>\n
  10. The Internal Finish of the Burner & Ash Cover (the style of “Front”)<\/li>\n
  11. Materials for the individual components<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    It is not possible to select invalid combinations. \u00a0Combustible clearances are shown. \u00a0There is Detail Level Control. \u00a0It will cut multiple walls\/columns if need be. \u00a0It will cut the Frame back separately to the plasterboard. \u00a0All the individual components are schedulable with ANZRS parameters.<\/p>\n
